The week started out beautiful and warm, and now it is grey and cold! While I’m not a big fan of the cold, it does make it feel more like the holiday season.
Here’s what I loved this week:
Puppies on Instagram
If you are not on instagram, you need to join just for the adorable puppy pictures!
One of my favorites is @dachshundsofinstagram, just because I have a doxie mix and am a bit partial to them! I could look at pictures of everyone’s cute pups all day long on instagram and never get bored!
If you want to see pictures of my dog, follow me on instagram at @ashleyfit4me.
Clean Eating Pumpkin Muffins
I made this pumpkin muffins with my fresh pumpkin puree and they were absolutely delicious! I only made a few, and I wish I had made a ton!
I followed this recipe by Running with Spoons and I highly recommend you make these ASAP!
Online Encouragement Groups
Some people may call these a support group, but I don’t like that term. I think a support group brings up images of people sitting around and complaining about their problems to one another. And this group is definitely not that!
I am part of a 21 day “encouragement” group for a healthy Thanksgiving holiday. We started on Monday and the group is uplifting, positive and encourages each other to make the right choices, work out (even if it’s just for 10 minutes) and be healthy and happy!
When things get rough and stressful, which let’s face it, happens a lot in life, I can always turn to this group and find the right words. It’s motivating, helps me let go of mistakes (when I eat the whole cookie instead of half and feel guilty), and let’s me know every healthy decision I make is a step in the right direction!
If this type of encouragement group sounds good to you, I will be hosting one for the month of December. It’s FREE, you can win prizes for participating, and will gain a ton of confidence and happiness! Send me a message if you are interested in joining.
